Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS) Expansion

MITS is a Year 7 transition school for Indigenous students from remote and regional communities across Australia.

The programme's success has led MITS to continue expanding its pathway to house alumni students in an additional boarding house.

This is the third boarding facility Mcildowie Partners have undertaken in partnership with MITS and will see a unique revitalisation of an underutilised site in the heart of Richmond.

An essential asset for the education of young Indigenous Australians, this project will enable Year 8-12 students to study at a wide range of schools in Melbourne while sharing their accommodation in Richmond, continuing MITS’s mission of empowering young Indigenous Australians to lead lives full of choice and opportunity.
