Dio’s New Arts Centre Building Taking Shape in Auckland

Construction is now underway on the latest major building project at Diocesan School for Girls. Lead contractors Aspec Construction have finished excavations and ground works on the Performing Arts Centre project. Large decorative precast wall panels forming the feature North facade have been erected giving a taste of the final form and finish of the stunning new building.

Designed in conjunction with the recently completed Music & Drama building, the 2 stages will unite to form a singular vision, setting a new benchmark as a centre for excellence and hallmarking the school as a leader in education across New Zealand.

As a new flagship facility, the combined Music & Drama School and Performing Arts Centre are key components of Diocesan School’s future-focussed Masterplan, sustaining development of young, world-class musicians, actors and performers for decades to come.
